World’s oldest clock
Come and see the world’s oldest working mechanical clock in action. The clock was made of hand-wrought iron in or before 1386. Although it has ticked for centuries, its bell is usually silent. An expert guide gives a short talk and releases the striking mechanism so you can hear it ring – just as visitors in medieval times did!
Every Tuesday and Thursday after 11am, all year round.
